The team strengthens Lend Lease’s buying power through supply alliances, new purchasing techniques and providing direct assistance to project teams.
Supply chains are improved through assessment and re-engineering of processes, including the removal of unproductive steps in the chain. This creates value through price, function, aesthetics and timely supply. It is an important input for Bovis Lend Lease, Lend Lease Communities, our alliance partners, their clients and end users.
In 2008, the team will expand its scope by procuring from overseas for some business units.
