Lend Lease design Engineering Team comprises an experienced group of engineers and specialists drawn from design, consulting, contracting and cost planning backgrounds. The combined skills of the team ensure projects can be optimised from all aspects including concept, programme, practicality and cost.
Interconnected teams within this group combine to provide a unique service offering. A building services design team takes on selected design and documentation projects. Their speciality is in complex, innovative and sustainable commercial, residential and retail buildings with an integrated design capacity in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, lighting, fire and vertical transport.
A Specialist Project Engineering (SPE) team provides a key resource to the business and is represented by engineers from all disciplines including structure, mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic systems and vertical transport. Additionally, there is a team of architectural specialists whose focus is on the risk management of cross discipline issues, façade and building envelope, finishes, authorities, BCA, fire engineering and waterproofing.
Discrete but associated services also are maintained within the Engineering group. These include procurement engineering specialists, commissioning engineers and a building design and construction review service (labelled CIDD after Certainty in Design and Delivery).
The teams are laterally integrated in the Engineering Team and often vertically integrated with the other Lend Lease design teams including architectural design, structural design and sustainability, to achieve optimum “whole of building” solutions.

The sum objective is to help extract the maximum value out of all Lend Lease’s projects for the benefit of the client.
